ABOUT dr. Lisa
I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Tampa, FL and New York. Due to current stay-at-home measures as a result of COVID-19, I am providing telehealth services. For 14 years I have helped people of all ages and backgrounds to heal and live full, empowered, and authentic lives.
I have worked with people who have a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum struggles, grief, chronic illness, work stress, relationship conflict, and issues related to identity. I am trained in several evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation - Narrative Therapy (STAIR-NST) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
However, each individual is unique so I will partner with you to build on your strengths and customize therapy to best meet your needs and goals. I offer one-on-one therapy and specialized group sessions flexible to your budget and schedule.
I also provide consultation and training services to organizations aiming to create healthier and more equitable work environments. This includes anti-racism, equity, trauma, parenting, and wellness support.
I recently relocated to Tampa from New York City where I was an adjunct professor at New York University (NYU), director of an organizational development and clinical training institute, and the dean of a diversity, equity and inclusion initiative. I also maintained a private practice in midtown Manhattan working with individuals in the business, medical and legal fields.
